Voxativ Ampeggio by Schimmel Pianos and Estelon Loudspeakers
The Voxativ Ampeggio loudspeakers just keep on performing better. While we await the fabulous Da Vinci Audio amplifiers to drive the Voxativs, as well as the Voxativ cables, we decided to make some minor updates to our current tube amplifier for a more optimal performance. We also now use a speaker cable similar to those we await from Voxativ, and have done some tube-rolling for higher transparency, timbral accuracy, and improved soundstage.
The rectifier tube is one the most important tubes in an amplifier, sonically speaking. After a comparison between the cream of the crop GZ34 rectifier tubes, we opted instead for the TJ Full Music 274B mesh plate rectifier. Low level detail was more pronounced with higher fidelity in leading edges, at least in our system, and a deeper soundstage. These tubes are big, as seen in the picture below, the single middle tube.

Also added were a pair of matched Sylvania 6SN7 GTWA brown base chrome top for a more natural sound, one tube each flanking the 274B rectifier tube.

Listen to the Voxativ Ampeggio loudspeakers at :
#02-44, the Adelphi, Singapore

Also currently on demo are the newly arrived Estelon loudspeakers, superb loudspeakers sporting German Accuton ceramic drivers. Hear them driven by the fabulous Lavardin IT-15 amplifier. Inherently transparent and high resolution speakers, with excellent bass response unlike many ceramic driver speakers.
